ATLANTA, Ga. (February 28, 2024) – The Atlanta Vibe (4-2) remain at the top of the Pro Volleyball Federation standings as the team plays host to the second-ranked Omaha Supernovas (5-3) on Thursday, February 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Gas South Arena. The match will stream live on the league’s YouTube page here.

The last time these two teams met, the Vibe made history with the first win in the Pro Volleyball Federation by taking down the Supernovas in Omaha in five sets on January 24. The Vibe went up 2-0 in the match but lost the third and fourth sets to send it to a fifth deciding set - which Atlanta won just 15-13.

Outside hitter Leah Edmond knocked down 27 kills off 70 attacks in the win, while libero Morgan Hentz (25 digs) and setter Tori Stringer (24 digs) shared the back-row defensive duties. Alli Linnehan tallied 13 kills and 16 digs on her way to the first ever Pro Volleyball Federation Player of the Week honor.

Three Omaha players finished with double-digit kills, led by Brooke Nuneviller’s 16 kills on 48 attacks. Supernovas’ libero Kendall White tallied 23 digs in the match, still the most of any player in a match against Atlanta this season.
