The Mountain Lions (39-13) are dancing for the third time since 2019! The NCAA released their division II baseball bracket Sunday night. Young Harris earned the five seed in the Southeast Region. YHC is in the first Southeast Region hosted by Catawba College and will face the fourth seed, UNC Pembroke, on Thursday May 16th.
WHERE: Salisbury, North Carolina will be the destination for the Mountain Lions as Catawba earned the region's top seed and hosting responsibilities for the first Southeast Regional.
WHEN: Southeast Regional #1 takes place from Thursday, May 16th to Saturday, May 18th. The Mountain Lions play in the first game on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
WHO: Young Harris as the five seed, will face off against the four seed UNC Pembroke Braves.
The Braves compiled a 42-12 record and captured their first Conference Carolinas Baseball Title defeating Belmont Abbey 10-0 in the Championship game last Monday.
If the Mountain Lions win game one, they will advance to game three on Friday where they would face the winner of Catawba vs UNC Pembroke.
FINALS: The team that makes it out of the first Southeast Regional will advance to the Super Regionals (May 24th-25th) and will play a best of three with the team that comes out of the second Southeast Regional.
Championship bracket games will take place June 1-8 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
Eight teams advance to Cary and will be re-seeded before double-elimination games to decide the national champion.

Game 1: (4) UNC Pembroke vs. (5) Young Harris | 3:30 p.m.
Game 2: (1) Catawba vs. Loser of Game 1 | 7 p.m.
Friday, May 17
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 | Time TBD
Saturday, May 18
Game 4: Loser of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 3 | Time TBD
Game 5 if necessary: Loser of Game 4 vs. Winner of Game 4| 30 minuntes after Game 4
