Business Robbed In Hiawassee

On Thursday March 7th at 4:15 AM, Towns County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm call at the Marathon station on Hwy 75N.

Deputies arrived to find damage to the front door. Video cameras detected three individuals inside the store that appeared to be wearing masks. An undetermined amount of cash was taken.

The case is under investigation by Towns County Sheriff’s Office investigators.
