CLAY COUNTY GOP AUGUST MONTHLY MEETING,THURSDAY, AUGUST 17TH, 6:30 PM

The Clay County Republican Party will host its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, August 17th, in the upstairs meeting room at the Clay County Community Services Building.

There will be light refreshments, snacks, and desserts served at 6:30 PM (attendees are encouraged to bring a covered dish, snack, or dessert to share), followed by the business meeting at 7:00 PM.

The featured speaker for the meeting will be Clay County GOP Vice-Chair/General Counsel Larry J. Ford, who will present a review of recent US Supreme Court and other notable Court decisions that affect the constitutional, election, and political landscape. Last year's presentation focused on the landmark Constitutional cases in 2022, and the Supreme and other Courts have been no less active this year.

The Clay GOP Headquarters grand opening celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 and will be attended by various national, state and local officials and/or candidates. Light refreshments will be served. Drop by on the 19th and help us celebrate our HQ opening.
