Clay County GOP To Host Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

The Clay County Republican Party will hold its May meeting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 20 at West Tubing Company. This special Saturday meeting will be a family fun-filled event to show appreciation for our local law enforcement members (Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol), and their families. GOP members are encouraged to bring their children or grandchildren as well.

Hosted by West Tubing Company owners Dave and June West, the Clay County Republican Party will furnish hamburgers and hot dogs for all to enjoy. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, snack or dessert to share.

Open to all Republicans and unaffiliated voters, the event will open with a short ceremony to recognize our local law enforcement personnel, then continue with food, games and fellowship for all to enjoy. Weather permitting, guests may be shuttled between the main West Tubing Outpost location on the banks of Brasstown Creek and their nearby West Preserve property. There will be a DJ and various games such as corn hole, to entertain the entire family.
