CLAY COUNTY TO RECEIVE $2.5M FOR NEW EMS AND COMMUNITY PARAMEDIC TRAINING FACILITY

Clay County Leadership continues to aggressively pursue grant opportunities and lobby for legislative money to help offset local dollars for multiple capital improvement projects.

The Clay County Board of Commissioners is thankful for the news today from Congressman Chuck Edwards on the $2.5M allocated to Clay County towards our new EMS and Community Paramedic Training Facility.

The land for the facility, located across the street from Courthouse Drive, was purchased with a $850K NC Dept of Commerce Grant. The property, which will also house a Farmers Market with canner,y is currently in the design phase.
