Crystal Corley and the Mountain Lions Take Down SWU

Spencer Mathis

Assistant Sports Information Director

Central, S.C.| Young Harris traveled to Tysinger Gymnasium to take on Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday (Feb. 14) evening. YHC took a commanding 18-10 lead in the first quarter, which sprouted into a 26 to 20 halftime lead. In the second half, the Mountain Lions held on to take down the Warriors, 54 to 49. Crystal Corley was an imposing force yet again for the Mountain Lions, as they extended their win streak to five games. The Mountain Lions improved to 12-12 this season and an impressive 8-6 in Conference Carolinas play. Southern Wesleyan University dropped to 9-15 overall and 6-8 in conference games. YHC returns to action on Saturday at 2 p.m., where they take on King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
