Date set for Clay County GOP monthly meeting

The Clay County Republican Party will hold its August meeting on Thursday, August 21st, 2022, at 6:30 PM.

Open to all Republicans and unaffiliated voters, we, at long last, are able to return to the Clay County Senior Center on Ritter Road in Hayesville as the venue for the meeting thanks to the Clay County Board of Commissioners.

The program will feature an analysis and discussion of the recent ground-breaking 2022 US Supreme Court cases, presented by Attorney Larry J. Ford, Clay GOP Vice-Chair and General Counsel The discussion will include the Bruen Second Amendment case and the Dobbs abortion case, which over-ruled Roe vs. Wade, and how the Court's decisions may affect the 2022 and 2024 elections.
