Post-Match Quotes

Head Coach Keidane McAlpine

On the team’s Senior Day result…

"Bounce back. We needed to. We played two tough teams, and so I think it prepared us for games like this where we were able to play at a tempo a little higher than we probably would have if we started off with this game. I feel like we found some rhythm. We got a lot of great reps going into the final third. Some things that we've been talking about showed up today. But overall, we set a marker down with the seniors. The seniors were not happy with our performance against North Carolina, and they asked for more out of their teammates. And today was the day that they could go out and show the way with so many of them starting the game."

On the team’s confidence after the win…

"Today was all for the seniors and we all played for them. Everyone was on the same page, and we can be confident moving forward. I think this was a good win for our team."
