Erskine gets 3-2 win over Young Harris

The Young Harris College volleyball team fell 3-2 in a nail biter to Erskine College Tuesday (Oct. 31) afternoon at Belk Arena. The Mountain Lions fall to 10-15 overall and 7-9 in Conference Carolinas while the Fleet improve to 5-21 and 4-11.

YHC is back in action Saturday, November 4th in a noon conference matchup against Chowan, in Murfreesboro, N.C.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Chase Vaigneur and Faith Kelly each recorded 11 kills and Lily Hidalgo added 10.

• YHC was down 2-1 after three sets and came back to win set four 27-25.

• Lyza Thigpen, Viagneur, and Hidalgo recorded two serve aces apiece.

• Thigpen dished out 28 assists and Mollie Lawrence added 12.

• Joha Bernis had 28 digs.
