Flagler edges Young Harris 2-1 in double overtime

Andrea Fernandez's free kick 2:31 into extra time gave Flagler College a 2-1 double overtime victory over Young Harris College in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Peach Belt Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Thursday (Oct. 27) afternoon at Saints Field.

The No. 2-seeded Saints improved to 11-3-2 and will face the winner between No. 3 seed University of North Georgia and the No. 6 seed Georgia College and State University at 1 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29) in the semifinals, while the No. 7-seeded Mountain Lions see their season come to a close at 4-11-0.
