The fifth-ranked Georgia softball team opens a four-game road swing with an SEC series at Ole Miss. The three-game series begins Friday at 7 p.m. ET at the Ole Miss Softball Complex in Oxford.
Saturday's game is set for 4 p.m. ET, with Sunday's finale slated for 2 p.m. ET.

Recapping Action
Georgia routed Georgia Southern Wednesday evening 17-1 in five innings. Jaydyn Goodwin had a career game. She hit two home runs, one of which was a grand slam, and drove in a career-high six runs. All 17 Georgia position players played in Wednesday’s game, and 13 Bulldogs recorded hits. Behind Goodwin, Georgia scattered 15 hits, including four home runs and five doubles. No Georgia batter struck out. Along with Goodwin, Jaiden Fields also had two hits. Four Bulldogs, including Lyndi Rae Davis, Tyler Ellison, Marisa Miller, and Goodwin, drove in multiple runs on the night.
A Look at What's Ahead
The Bulldogs will travel down the road to Kennesaw State on Wednesday to close the road swing. First pitch in Kennesaw is set for 6:30 p.m. against the Owls. Georgia returns to Athens to host Arkansas in a three-game series. The series begins Saturday at 12 p.m.
Coaching Connections
Ole Miss director of operations Savana Sikes played for the Red and Black from 2019-22. She was a member of Georgia's 2021 Women's College World Series team. Sikes graduated from UGA with her Management degree in May 2022.
Goodwin Has Monster Game Against Georgia Southern
Sophomore Jaydyn Goodwin had a career game against Georgia Southern on March 20, blasting two home runs, one of which was a grand slam, driving in six of Georgia's 17 runs in the game. It was the first time she hit two home runs in a game and it was her first career grand slam. Both home runs were on the first pitch of her at-bats.
Leadoff Lyndi Finds New Home in Order
Lyndi Rae Davis has found a new spot at the top of the Georgia batting order. Since taking over the leadoff role on March 8, Davis has drawn 12 walks in 10 games and put together a .595 on-base clip. Twice, she's drawn three walks in a game, both career-highs. She leads Georgia with 22 walks this season. Her 0.81 walks per game ranks third in the SEC.
