The University of Georgia women’s basketball team will join Penn State, Marshall and Tulsa in the inaugural Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Showcase this November at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Lady Bulldogs are set to face Tulsa on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. ET, before going against Penn State on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 3:30 p.m. ET. All games will be played inside the State Farm Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
This will mark only the second meeting between Georgia and Tulsa. The two squads last played on Dec. 12, 1980 — a 97-79 Lady Bulldog win at Tulsa. Georgia is 2-0 all time against Penn State, with the last meeting coming on Jan. 5, 1997.
Tickets for the WBCA Showcase are on sale now exclusively through Ticketmaster by clicking here. Tickets start at only $30 with upgraded seating options available. Group tickets will go on sale Sept. 3 with discounts available based on the size of the group. All tickets will be sold online via Ticketmaster and delivered digitally. Tickets will not be available to purchase onsite at the State Farm Field House box office on game days.
