Hayesville Takes First Place In Murphy Track And Field Meet

In Murphy, on Wednesday, April 19, the boys track and field team from Hayesville High School defeated five other western North Carolina teams to stand atop the podium. This season, the Yellow Jackets have been a favorite to win any time they compete.

Along with team event wins, Hayesville's Taylor McClure and Isaac Chandler picked up victories in individual events.
