Hayesville Takes Three of Four From Swain

The only loss for Hayesville on the evening came in the varsity boys game. Swain County had a definate size advantage and the Maroon Devils' ball movement was very Yellow Jacket-esque. Isaac Chandler - 8 points

Slade Crouch - 7 points

Asher Brown - 6 points

For the varsity Lady Jackets, it was a roller coaster evening. Hayesville looked strong early, building a first-quarter lead, but the Lady Devils kept fighting. With head coach Chad McClure absent due to his son's college graduation, assistant Amanda Thompson was charged with a game plan to hold off the visitors. Thompson and the Lady Jackets were successful and in the closing minutes, Hayesville pulled away for the 43-29 victory.
