Hedden leads Yellow Jackets into the post-season

The 2023 varsity golf season has been a fairly successful one for the Yellow Jackets. The golf team returned three members from last season and added three newcomers to the links.

"Overall the golf team has had a great season," said head coach Will Penland. " Seth Hedden led our team with rounds of 84 and 85 which was good enough for fifth overall and a spot on the SMC All-Conference team."

Hedden and Connor Pullam posted scores in the conference tournament that qualified them for the NCHSAA 1A West Regional at Lincoln Country Club in Lincolnton NC on Thursday, May 18.
