Island Fire

Public notice concerning island 2 on lake Chatuge:

About a week ago a small fire was reported on island 2 on lake Chatuge. After having conversations with other agencies that would be involved it was determined that it was best to let the fire burn itself out.

We are monitoring the fire to make sure it stays contained to the island. We will update if any changes are reported.
