Jackets Land On Podium At Conference Meet

Runners representing Hayesville High School traveled to Swain County High School on Saturday, Oct. 14 to compete in the Smoky Mountain Conference championship cross country meet. The boys team ended the even with a second place finish and the girls stood on the podium in third place.

Those outstanding team finishes came on the backs of outstanding individual performances.

Runners who qualified will return to Bryson City on Saturday, Oct. 28 to compete in the NCHSAA 1A West Regional.
