Jeremy Begora and Belle Hardwick Named Mountain Lions of the Week

Young Harris, GA| Jeremy Begora and the Young Harris College baseball team are off to their best start in program history, winning the first nine out of ten games. Begora has played an enormous role in the Mountain Lions unprecedented success thus far; this season, Begora has a .429 AVG, two home runs, 11 RBIs, and has drawn nine walks in just 10 games played. This past week, Begora and the Mountain Lions went 3-1 overall. In those four games, Begora went 9-16 from the plate, launched one home run, recorded four RBIs, scored seven runs, and drew four walks. 

Belle Hardwick of the YHC women's lacrosse team has been on a tear offensively for the Mountain Lions so far this season. Hardwick has already surpassed her goal total from last season (9) and has scored a team leading 14 goals in just five games played. Hardwick scored four goals for YHC this past week, while also adding an assist, two groundball pickups, one caused turnover, one draw control, while also going one for one in FPS opportunities.
