Knights Best Yellow Jackets in The Hive

In a hard-fought battle on Tuesday night, the Hayesville Yellow Jackets clashed with the Robbinsville Black Knights in a knock-down drag-out Smoky Mountain Conference contest. The game lived up to its billing as a physical contest, with both teams leaving it all on the court. However, it was the Robbinsville Black Knights who emerged victorious, sealing a 65-51 win in the closing minutes.

Throughout the game, the competition remained tight, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. But Robbinsville managed to gain a crucial edge, capitalizing on late foul shots to extend their lead and secure the win.

Despite the defeat, the Hayesville Yellow Jackets showcased impressive performances from their scoring leaders. Slade Crouch, Isaac Chandler, and Jacob McClure each contributed 12 points to the team's tally, displaying their offensive prowess and determination on the court.

With this game behind them, Hayesville now shifts its focus to their upcoming matchup against Andrews on Friday, February 9. As they prepare to host Andrews in what will be their final home game of the regular season, the Yellow Jackets will undoubtedly be seeking redemption and aiming to finish strong as they look ahead to postseason play.
