Mission Accomplished: Hayesville Goes Undefeated En Route To A Conference Title

On Friday, April 26th, the Hayesville Yellow Jacket baseball team travelled to Robbinsville to face the Black Knights in Hayesville's final Smoky Mountain Conference game of the season. The Jackets' offense started slow, but got hot in the late innings to get the 7-2 win. The victory gave Hayesville an undefeated conference season and another conference championship.

Peyton McGaha: homerun, RBI, 1 run scored, 2 stolen bases

Michael Mauney: 2 hits, 2 runs scored, 4 stolen bases

Cade Caruso: 5 innings pitched, 1 earned run, 2 hits, 6 walks, 8 strikeouts


Next up for the Yellow Jackets is a regular season-ending double header in Brevard on Friday, May 3rd. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
