More Methamphetamine arrests in Towns County

On Wednesday, May 10th at 2:09 AM, Deputy Tyler Strickland initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 75N. Probable cause was established, and a search of the vehicle resulted in an amount of Methamphetamine was confiscated, which field-tested positive, along with drug related objects.

Calvin William Taylor, age 45, Roberta, GA was arrested and charged with: • Felony Possession of Methamphetamine • Felony Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime • Felony Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon • Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects • Driving while License Suspended/Revoked

On Friday May 13th at 5:00 pm Lt. Tommy Shook and K-9 Dakota conducted a traffic stop on Highway 339 and Crooked Creek Connector.

K-9 Dakota conducted a free air sniff and alerted on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and an amount of Methamphetamine which field tested positive was confiscated.

Ashley Marie Reece, age 32, Young Harris was arrested and charged with: • Possession of Methamphetamine • Driving Without a License • Failure to Maintain Lane
