Mountain Lions and Bobcats Draw 1-1
The Young Harris College men's soccer team picked up a 1-1 draw Saturday (Sept. 30) afternoon against Lees-McRae at Tate Field. Young Harris moved to 5-2-2 overall and 4-0-1 in Conference Carolinas while Lees-McRae moved to 3-3-3 and 3-1-1.
The Mountain Lions return to action Tuesday, September 3rd afternoon in a 6:30 p.m. Conference Carolinas match against Converse University in Spartanburg, S.C.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
Thomas Kleinpenning scored the tying goal of the match in the second half of play off a Malte Skaerbaek assist.
Stathis Paplomatos recorded one save for YHC.
Landon Robbins scored the only goal for the Bobcats.
YHC out shot Lees-McRae 15-6.
