Young Harris, GA| The Nighthawks traveled over the mountain to Young Harris on Thursday (Feb. 29) morning to take on the Mountain Lions, who were on a three-game winning streak heading into the match. The University of North Georgia were on their A-game today, winning all three doubles matches, and five singles matches.
YHC falls to 3-3 overall and suffers their first loss of 2024; UNG advanced to 7-0 on the season. The Mountain Lions return to action on Saturday (Mar. 9) afternoon at 2 p.m. when they take on Columbus State University in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The Mountain Lions kept the matches close in all three doubles matches, losing 6-4, 6-3, and 6-4.
Rodrigo Mendoza picked up the sole victory for the Mountain Lions, defeating Giulio Sassi in three sets (6-2, 5-7, and 10-8).
Five of the six UNG players won a doubles and a singles match, with Joaquin Benoit recording the most convincing wins, (6-4) in his doubles match, and (6-3 and 6-1) in his singles match.
