Payne honored for high school career

Senior Lila Payne and her accomplishments were recognized before Hayesville's game on Thursday, April 28.

As a representative of Hayesville High School, Payne was a four-year starter for the Lady Jacket softball and basketball teams.

On the diamond, Payne has been a mainstay as an infielder and a solid swinger in the batter's box.

Payne was Hayesville's lone senior on the 2022 team.
