Pete Barley Memorial car show to be held on June 4th

On Saturday, June 4, the Blairsville Cruisers Car Club will host a Memorial Car Show in honor of our former president, Pete Barley, who passed away recently. The event starts at 3p.m. at the Union County Farmers Market, Blairsville. Participants are asked to arrive after 2 p.m. in order to allow the farmers market vendors to clear from the opening of the market.

Awards will include a Pete Barley Best of Show trophy, Best GM trophy and a Club Choice trophy. There will be door prizes for registered vehicles as well as a 50/50 drawing for attendees. There is no entry fee or spectator fee for this event. A donation to help the needy children’s Christmas programs would be appreciated. Music, food and lots of very nice vehicles for all to enjoy will the order of the day. Come celebrate Pete with us.

All Blairsville Cruisers events are open to anything on wheels. You do not need to be a member to participate our events and we welcome all to come see the show or enter your vehicle in the event.
