Progress Continues on New Clay County Veteran’s Park

Construction of the new Clay County Veteran’s Park is well underway, with Cork Howard Construction working diligently on the project, which was designed by CDH Architecture. Approved by the Clay County Board of Commissioners in June, the park is on track to become a reality, with the majority of construction expected to be completed ahead of Veterans Day on November 11th. Final touches are anticipated to be finished shortly thereafter.

The Clay County Board of Commissioners, representing the community, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of local veterans with this new facility. They also extended their thanks to VFW Post 6812 and George Lee American Legion Post 532 for their invaluable assistance with the project, as well as to everyone who has donated to the Veteran’s Park.

Included below are pictures of the construction progress and architectural renderings of the final design, showcasing the park's future as a meaningful tribute to the veterans of Clay County.
