Rain forces changes to weekend baseball, softball schedules

Expected rain in the region this weekend has forced changes to the Young Harris College baseball and softball schedules.

The baseball team will now play a 3 p.m. doubleheader Friday (March 17) in their Peach Belt Conference series against Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. The third game will be dependent on when the rain ends in the Ancient City. They will try to play the series finale against the Saints at some point Saturday (March 18); however, if that's not possible they will play Sunday (March 19) at noon.

The softball three-game series against Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, has been pushed back a day. The teams will now play a 1 p.m. PBC doubleheader Saturday (March 18) followed by the 1 p.m. series finale Sunday (March 19).
