The Clay County Sheriff's Office has received reports about a scam currently occurring where the scammers are using the number from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
If you receive a suspicious call please let us know. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office will never solicit funds or threaten jail time if fines are not paid. If you have any suspicious calls from someone claiming to be from our office, please do not give out any information or provide payment of any kind.
