WGOLF | Young Harris opens play at LeeAnn Noble Memorial


The Young Harris College women's golf team opened play the LeeAnn Noble Memorial hosted by the University of North Georgia Monday (Oct. 10) afternoon.


INSIDE THE ROPES:

  • With only three golfers competing in the event, the Mountain Lions did not earn a team score.

  • The top Young Harris golfer in the field is Lucy Wiegert, who shot rounds of 83 and 76 on the par 72, 5,934-yard layout at the Achasta Golf Club and is tied for 68th lace.

  • Connor Johnson is tied for 89th at 167 after rounds of 83 and 84.

  • Sarah Comer is in 92nd place at 224 after posting rounds of 106 and 118.

  • The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (Oct. 11) with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
