Woodhouse To Speak At Monthly GOP Event
The Clay County Republican Party will host its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, October 19th, in the upstairs meeting room at the Clay County Community Services Building.
There will be light refreshments, snacks, and desserts served at 6:30 PM (attendees are encouraged to bring a covered dish, snack, or dessert to share), followed by the business meeting at 7:00 PM.

The featured speaker for the meeting will be Dallas Woodhouse, who is Executive Director of American Majority, and former Executive Director of the NC Republican Party. As North Carolina Executive Director of American Majority, Dallas Woodhouse manages the day-to-day operations of the North Carolina state office. Woodhouse recruits and trains potential candidates and grassroots leaders committed to individual freedom through limited government, personal responsibility and free market economics.
Woodhouse also is an award-winning columnist and author with Carolina Journal, a project of the John Locke Foundation.
While serving as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Republican Party, (2015-2019) Woodhouse revived the State Party, retired their substantial debt, hired a successful team and recruited top candidates. With Woodhouse at the helm in 2016, the GOP saw one of its most successful elections in modern history.
Woodhouse is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina and holds a Master of Arts from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Campbell University.
Once again, the Clay GOP will hold its annual Christmas Party and Banquet at the Hinton Center, featuring the "White Elephant" gift exchange, and the presentation of the Joel Mayo Volunteer of the Year Award for 2023. More details to follow.
Tickets to the Christmas Party/Banquet will be available for sale at the October meeting on October 19th.
