Yellow Jackets Advance With Shutout Victory Over Crusaders



The varsity Hayesville Yellow Jacket football team opened the playoffs by hosting Christ the King High School from Huntersville. The visitors came in with a record of 5-5 while the Jackets were one game over .500 with a 6-4 record. Kickoff was delayed due to bus trouble for the Crusaders. Once the game got underway, Hayesville made Jacket Nation proud with a dominant 28-0 victory.

Hayesville takes a knee to clinch the 28-0 win and advance to round two to face East Randolph.
