YHC and FMU Play to a Draw 2-2

In a comeback effort, the Mountain Lions answered to the Patriots' early lead, but couldn't pull ahead (Oct. 21st). Pato Padilla and Thomas Kleinpenning found ways to score, tying the game at 2-2.


The Mountain Lions move to 9-2-4 overall and are 8-0-3 in Conference Carolinas, while the Patriots move to 7-1-6 overall and are 6-0-4 in Conference Carolinas. YHC heads to Clayton State in an out of conference game this Tuesday (Oct. 24th), at 3:30pm.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • In a PK opportunity, Pato Padilla finds the back of the net to put the Mountain Lions on the board to start the second half (50:13).

  • Alexsi Morel assists Thomas Kleinpenning who scores to tie the game 2-2 (71:05). Kleinpenning contributed 3 shots in addition to 2 shots on goal.

  • Rafael Silverio and Camilo Salazar were the goal scorers for Francis Marion.

  • The Patriots outshot the Mountain Lions 14-6.

  • Stathis Paplomatos had 4 saves, Felipe Ramos Peralta had 2.
