Young Harris, GA| The University of North Georgia Nighthawks have been unstoppable this season, much like the Young Harris College women's tennis team has been in 2024. On Thursday (Feb. 29) afternoon, the two powerhouses collided, but the Nighthawks continued their undefeated season, defeating YHC 7-0.
The Mountain Lions dropped to 5-3 this season, while the Nighthawks improved to a perfect 7-0. Young Harris returns to action on Saturday (Mar. 9) at 2 p.m. when they take on the Columbus State University Cougars in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

UNG won all three doubles matches (6-4, 6-2, and 6-2) to secure a point for the Nighthawks.
The Mountain Lions dropped their six singles matches, with Emily Bush pushing the furthest for YHC, forcing a third set, before ultimately falling to Johanna Lippert.
Angelina Linnikova had the Nighthawks best performance, winning her doubles match (6-2) and her singles match (6-0 and 6-2).
