YHC gets 3-2 Win Over SWU
CENTRAL, S.C. | The Young Harris College women's volleyball team picked up a 3-2 Conference Carolians road win over Southern Wesleyan University Wednesday (Oct. 25) afternoon at Tysinger Stadium. YHC improves to 10-13 overall and 7-7 in Conference Carolinas while SWU falls to 3-19 and 1-13.
The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday, October 28th with a 1pm Conference matchup against North Greenville at home. YHC will recognize its three seniors prior to the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
Lily Hidalgo (13) and Chase Vaigneur (12) led YHC in kills.
Nicole Klucharich added seven kills, while Faith Kelly and Sophie Bearden totaled six apiece.
Lyza Thigpen dished out 28 assists and Mollie Lawrence added 18.
Vaigneur and Thigpen each had five service aces.
Joha Bernis recorded 36 digs.
