The Mountain Lions men's tennis team took on Drury University at a neutral site for both schools on Tuesday (Mar. 12) afternoon. When all was said and done, it was the Panthers who came out on top, with a 4-1 win.
Young Harris moves to 3-4 overall and Drury moves to 8-1 this season. The Mountain Lions return to action on Wednesday (Mar. 13) against Catawba College in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The Mountain Lions took two of three from the Panthers in doubles matches, with the combinations of Rodrigo Mendoza and Caleb McCurry (6-3) and Jamie Bixby and Hemang Gaur (6-4) each winning to earn YHC one point.
In singles, it was all Drury University, winning four singles matches. Sylvain Garin-Michaud, Marlon Wilken, Matthieu Gachon, and Jesus Gonzalez earning the Hawks four points.
In a match that did not finish (DNF), Hemang Gaur took set one (6-2) and tied in set two (6-6) before the match was stopped and the Panthers earned the 4-1 win.
