Young Harris College Loses a Nail-biter to Lander University


Dustie Obah scored four points, grabbed two boards, and shot 2-2 from the FT line

The Mountain Lions lost 58-56 to the Bearcats on Saturday (Nov. 18) at the Abney Athletic Center. YHC lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, but Lander took the lead over Young Harris with 11 seconds left in the game.

The Mountains Lions fell to 1-3 in the young season, while the Bearcats improved to 2-2. Young Harris returns to action on Tuesday (Nov. 21) against Tusculum in Greeneville, Tenn.

  • Wykira Johnson-Kelly lead the Bearcats to victory with 17 points and eight rebounds.

  • JaMari Frederick scored the most points for the Mountain Lions for the third straight game.
