The Young Harris College men's golf team finished in 19th place at the annual Bearcat Classic hosted by Lander University on Monday (Mar. 4) and Tuesday (Mar. 5).
The Mountain Lions return to action on Monday March 18th at the Battle of Barnsley in Adairsville, Georgia.
INSIDE THE SCORECARD:
YHC scored 301 in round one, 294 in round two, and 305 in round three to complete the 54-hole tournament at 900.
Jake Wehunt had the best performance for Young Harris, finishing tied for 70th place, with scores of 74 (two over par), 76 (four over par), and 73 (one over par), for a total of 223, which was good for a +7 par.
Ruben Lindstrom finished tied for 84th place, with a 226 score, ending with a +10 par.
Martin Kjellser finished with a 227 score and a +11 par; finishing tied for 90th place.
John McCracken and Will Ranieri finished tied for 97th place, with a 229 score, good for a +13 par.
