Young Harris is 22nd in the latest NABC Coaches Rankings

The Young Harris College men's basketball team fell four positions to 22nd in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings.
YHC, which is off to its best-ever start at 12-1, split its two games last week. The Mountain Lions defeated Clayton State University 66-63 on the road before falling to then-No. 10 Augusta University 87-66 at home.
Young Harris, which is 3-1 in the Peach Belt Conference, is one of two Peach Belt institutions in this week's poll. Augusta is now ranked ninth.
The Mountain Lions have two PBC road contests this week. They will travel to Columbus, Georgia, for a 7:30 p.m. game against Columbus State University Wednesday (Jan. 11) before going to St. Augustine, Florida, for a 3:30 p.m. contest against Flagler College Saturday (Jan. 14).
Men's basketball is the third YHC program to be nationally ranking this year, joining men's soccer and baseball.
The NABC poll is for publicity purposes only and is not used in the selection process for the NCAA Division II postseason.
