Young Harris picks up 3-1 road win over Emmanuel (Ga.)

The Mountain Lions took care of business in Franklin Springs, beating the Emmanuel Lions 3-1. Young Harris dominated offensively with 3 different goal scorers tonight (Oct. 18th).

The Mountain Lions move to 8-4-3 overall and are 7-3-0 in Conference Carolinas, while the Lions move to 4-10-0 overall and are 4-6-0 in Conference Carolinas. YHC returns home this Saturday (Oct. 21st) where they take on Francis Marion at 12pm.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• In the 1st half, Morgan Kasel assisted Alexis Scarpinato for the Mountain Lions first goal (15:31).

• Makayla Robinson put one in the net with the assist from Cassidy Campbell at (78:40). Nearly 6 minutes later, Tess Preston scores the final goal for YHC at (85:20).

• Mckenna Peaster registered 4 saves, Julia Styrmisdottir registered 5.

• Emmanuel outshot Young Harris 17-14.
