Young Harris walks it off against Flagler 4-3

A wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh gave the Young Harris College softball team a 4-3 Peach Belt Conferwence victory over Flagler College Sunday (March 5) afternoon at the YHC Softball Field.
The Mountain Lions improved to 8-14 overall and to 2-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Saints fell to 7-10 and 4-2. YHC hosts Christian Brothers University in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday (March 8).
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
With the score tied at 3, Bailee Brown started the seventh with a walk and moved over to third back on a Aubrey Bourrie bunt single. Brown then scored on Flagler reliever Mallory Forrester's (0-2) wild pitch.
Flagler had taken a 3-0 lead before YHC tied it up at 3 with three runs in the bottom of the third. Hannah Carey started the scoring with a RBI single down the left field line. Two runs later scored on a Flagler error.
Brown led the Mountain Lions with two hits. YHC had six as a team.
Jill Dixon (2-2) earned the win in relief.
