Cherokee County Gears Up for the Great American Rodeo in Andrews

ANDREWS, N.C. — The Cherokee County Great American Rodeo is set to return to Andrews for two nights of high-energy entertainment Thursday, Aug. 8, and Friday, Aug. 9.

The rodeo will be held at 160 Park St. in Andrews. Gates open at 6 p.m. both nights, with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, cash only, and can be purchased at the gate. Advance tickets are also available by calling 706-633-7747 or by scanning the QR code on official promotional materials.

Hosted by the Great American Rodeo Company and sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA), the event will feature professional bull riding, mutton bustin’ for kids, live music, and a variety of food vendors.

Organizers are encouraging families and fans of all ages to come out and enjoy one of the most exciting events of the summer.
