Clay County Board of Commissioners
In a competitive race for the Clay County Board of Commissioners, three seats were up for grabs. The Republican candidates secured all three positions with Randy Nichols leading at 4,911 votes (34.71%), followed closely by Dwight H. Penland with 4,644 votes (32.82%), and Rob Peck, who garnered 4,594 votes (32.47%). Their election indicates a strong GOP preference in the county for local leadership.
Clay County Board of Education
The Board of Education election was also on the ballot, with two seats available. Republican candidates Danny Jones and Josh Ashe emerged victorious, with Jones receiving 4,965 votes (50.70%) and Ashe closely behind with 4,828 votes (49.30%). Clay Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor
