Clay County 4-H Rockin’ Bobbins Sewing Club to Host Summer Sewing Camp

CLAY COUNTY – The Clay County 4-H Rockin’ Bobbins Sewing Club Leaders are excited to announce a three-day summer sewing camp for local youth, set for August 13-15 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Open to Clay County residents ages 5-18 (as of January 1), the camp promises a fun-filled opportunity to learn the essential life skill of sewing.

Participants will dive into both hand-sewing techniques and the use of sewing machines, crafting their own unique items to take home by the end of the week. The camp will also include daily snack breaks to keep young sewers energized. Weather permitting, attendees will enjoy a special tour of the Downtown Discovery Garden, adding an outdoor adventure to the creative experience.

The Rockin’ Bobbins Sewing Club invites all eligible youth to join for “sew” much fun, fostering creativity and practical skills in a supportive environment.
