Clay County Health Department to Host Blood Drive on June 4th

HAYESVILLE, NC – The Clay County Health Department is partnering with Blood Assurance to host a blood drive on Wednesday, June 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will take place at 345 Courthouse Dr., Hayesville, NC 28904, and is open to all eligible donors.

Blood Assurance emphasizes the impact of donations, noting that one donation can save up to three lives. To encourage participation, the organization is offering a $20 gift card to donors who provide their email address after donating, while supplies last. Donors are reminded to eat a good meal, bring their ID, avoid energy drinks, and drink extra water to prepare for the donation process.
