Clay County Master Gardeners to Host 2025 Spring Plant Sale in Hayesville

The Clay County Master Gardeners are set to host their annual Spring Plant Sale on May 2-4, 2025, at the Downtown Discovery Garden, located at 25 Riverside Circle in Hayesville, NC. This event, organized in collaboration with NC State Extension and NC A&T, offers a chance for gardening enthusiasts to explore a wide variety of plants while supporting community initiatives.
The sale will take place over three days with the following schedule: Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday, May 4, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Visitors can shop for perennials, natives, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, and more, with Master Gardeners on hand to answer gardening questions and provide expert advice.
Funds raised from the sale will support educational opportunities and community outreach projects in Clay County, furthering the mission of the NC Cooperative Extension. Attendees are advised to bring cash or checks, as these will be the only payment methods accepted. Additionally, pets are not allowed in the garden.
