The Clay County Sheriff's Office proudly recognizes several of its officers for their recent achievements, reflecting their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the community.
Kyle Lickteig has been promoted to Sergeant.
Will Suggs has also been promoted to Sergeant.
Ethan Henderson earned his Intermediate Certificate from the North Carolina Sheriff's Education & Training Standards Commission.
Bruce Moore achieved the prestigious Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate, also awarded by the North Carolina Sheriff's Education & Training Standards Commission.
Donovan Burke earned his Field Training Officer (FTO) certification.
Cory Scroggs not only earned his FTO certification but has also been selected to become a K-9 officer.
These accomplishments highlight years of dedication and service to both Clay County and the law enforcement profession. Sheriff’s Office leadership noted that these achievements are a reflection of the depth and professionalism that have become hallmarks of their team’s culture.
“We are incredibly proud to serve the citizens of Clay County with such a fantastic group of employees,” the office stated in a press release.
