The town of Hayesville, NC, is set to have a day packed with events for all ages on Saturday, October 26, 2024. With multiple exciting activities happening throughout the day, locals and visitors will find plenty to enjoy.
Starting at 10 a.m., the 18th Annual Ag Day & Tractor Parade will take over Hayesville Town Square. Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this beloved event will feature local agriculture exhibits and culminate with a grand tractor parade beginning at 12:00 p.m. Organized by the Clay County Tractor Club, all funds raised from the event will support the club’s community programs. The event is sponsored by NC Cooperative Extension and the Clay County Center.
Next, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Brenda Kay Ledford, a local author, will be holding a book signing at Tiger’s & Chinquapins. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author and purchase signed copies of her latest work, Christmas in Matheson Cove, a perfect addition for the holiday season.
Finally, the evening will bring elegance and entertainment with the Black & Gold Masquerade Silent Auction Fundraiser. Hosted at The Beal Center in Hayesville, this fundraising gala will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., featuring a silent auction, dinner, and gala. The event promises a night of glamour with presale tickets available for $50.00 and $60.00 at the door. All proceeds will go toward supporting local causes.
