Four Mountain Lion baseball standouts have been named to the 2025 D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team, as the awards continue to pour in for the 2025 Young Harris College Baseball team.

Graduate pitcher Graham Edwards, junior third baseman Drew Bray, senior outfielder Luke Hatcher, and sophomore designated hitter Kade Smallwood all received second-team recognition after helping lead the Mountain Lions to 40 wins, a runner-up finish in the Conference Carolinas Championships, and a spot in the NCAA Southeast Regional.

Graham Edwards (Woodruff, South Carolina) anchored the Mountain Lions' pitching staff in his final collegiate season. The graduate right-hander appeared in 17 games with 13 starts, throwing 75.0 innings and recording a 3.24 ERA. He struck out 84 batters, allowed just a .230 opponent batting average, and posted a 4-4 record with one complete game. Edwards delivered a gutsy relief effort in the regional opener against North Greenville, entering with no prior notice and tossing 5.1 innings of three-hit ball to keep Young Harris in the fight.

Drew Bray (Canton, Georgia) was a steady force near the top of the lineup. The junior third baseman led the team with a .354 batting average and racked up 79 hits, including 12 doubles, five triples, and two home runs. Bray drove in 34 runs, drew a team-high 45 walks, and finished with a .488 on-base percentage—tied for the best on the squad.

Luke Hatcher (Cross City, Florida) wasted no time making his presence felt in his season as a Mountain Lion. The senior outfielder started all 57 games and led the team in extra-base hits with 47, finishing the year with a .343 average, 28 doubles, three triples, 16 home runs, and 70 RBI. His .695 slugging percentage and 1.118 OPS made him one of the most dangerous bats in the region. He previously earned First Team All-Conference Carolinas honors and First Team NCBWA All-Southeast Region.

Kade Smallwood (Flowery Branch, Georgia) brought consistent power to the designated hitter role. The sophomore slugger belted 18 home runs, batted .343 with 70 hits and 65 RBIs, and posted a 1.124 OPS. Smallwood also reached base at a .477 clip and slugged .647 on the season. Kade also received Second Team All-Conference Carolinas and NCBWA Second Team All-Southeast Region honors.

These four were a huge part of one of the best seasons in program history—and now they're getting the recognition they deserve across the Southeast.
