Hayesville Announces Packed July Events Schedule

HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The town of Hayesville is gearing up for a vibrant July filled with community events, starting with the weekly Farmers Market on the Square every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The month kicks off with special celebrations on July 3 and 4, featuring the Ag Scholarship Fund Rodeo at Cutworm’s Corral.


On July 4, the Freedom Festival on the Square runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., including a parade at 10 a.m., followed by fireworks at Clay County Rec Park at Lake Chatuge at 9:45 p.m.On July 5, Market Day at Lazy Llama (100 Sanderson St.) will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The following week, on July 11, the CCHAC Annual Street Dance with the "Joe Average Band" is scheduled for 7 p.m. A major highlight will be the CCHAC Annual Festival on the Square, occurring over the weekend of July 12-13.


Theater enthusiasts can enjoy the musical "Kiss Me, Kate!" at the Peacock Performing Arts Center, with performances set for July 18-20 and July 25-27. On July 18, an Open Mic Night at Corner Coffee & Wine will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the CCCRA Summer Concert with "Hush Money" at 7 p.m. on the Square. The month wraps up with another CCCRA Summer Concert on July 25, featuring "Quick Brown Fox" at 7 p.m. on the Square.


These events promise a mix of local culture, entertainment, and community engagement throughout the month.
